  I was thrilled to find Elisa's after learning they were the old owners of Gian's in Howell. I ordered a cake in store and then called to tweak a few things in the order. (Mind you I am the most polite and courteous person and I was speaking to Madeline that way) I could tell by the huffing and puffing that Madeline was annoyed I wanted to change something. She became argumentative after I asked why they wanted to charge me $25 extra for a basic buttercream design on top when my original order had fondant and they told me it would $25 extra for that since they have a lot of work to do with a design like that) After being told about my new idea- "That's gonna look stupid" (her exact words) I decided this is someone who's going to drive away business. I would never recommend this place just based on my experience with Madeline. Maybe she should brush up on people skills and how to speak to paying customers. Here's an inscription to write on my cake for you Madeline.. "F... U"!

  One of the best bakeries in the area for standard items. Their espresso is good too. We've used them for special occasions but I don't go there anymore because I've cut all cholesterol and animal products like eggs and dairy from my diet and I don't think they make any Vegan items. It would be great if they offered that option.
